History (Origins)

These arrows were first produced under order from the domain lord during the Edo Period (1600–1868). They have been continually made here for 150 years over the course of five generations.

Characteristics (Techniques and Materials)

Shino bamboo is used along with the color-variegated feathers of eagles, hawks and other such birds in pursuit of genuine beauty.
Today, these arrows are used devotedly by many competitive archers in competitions.
